A mother's final gift

Elaine never set out to write a book. In her 70s she began writing for her three daughters — sitting with her husband Henry as they recalled the life they'd built together on the road. She never planned to publish it. But after Henry passed, and after Elaine was diagnosed with terminal cancer, one of her daughters read the manuscript and couldn't put it down. As a family, we published it, so Elaine could go knowing her story would live on for generations. It was our last gift to her.

“This book is everything to me — the start of my life, my husband's life, creating our family, and taking every day as it came. I hope it brings joy to anyone who reads it.”
